. I have 3 years experience tutoring people with their reading and writing, specefically the kind of questions you will see on the ACT. . I scored a 4 (out of 5) on the AP English 11, 12, AP Govt., and AP European History tests. . My major is almost exclusively the ability to comprehend what you are reading and express it intelligently and I have a 3.6 with 9 classes taken. . I took the ACT twice in high school and was able to improve from a cumulative 21 to a cumulative 28. Solely, I believe, because of a few simple strategies that anyone can put forth. It is all about how you approach the matieral. . I am a member of the History, Buisness, and Economic honors societies . The reality is that colleges give these test scores a lot of importance and even if you get a high GPA, low test scores can hurt your chances of getting in. It is not fair that there are so many kids out there who see the school they want become out of reach solely because of them. So, hopefully I can help.
